HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAND PAINTED FURNITURE
• ALLOW FOR 21 DAYS FOR THE WAX TO CURE ON YOUR FRESHLY PAINTED FURNITURE. TREAT WITH CARE AND AVOID EXCESS HANDLING DURING THIS TIME.
• USE MILD SOAP AND WATER TO CLEAN YOUR PAINTED AND WAXED PIECE. DEGREASER SOAPS WILL AFFECT THE WAX.
• DO NOT USE FURNITURE POLISH, SPRAYS, TOO MUCH WATER, ALCOHOL, AND ANYTHING ACIDIC ON YOUR PIECE OF FURNITURE.
• USE A BLOTTER PAD TO AVOID PRESSING INTO FINISHED PIECES IF USING PIECE TO WRITE ON TOP OF. PLACE MATS AND COASTERS SHOULD BE USED TO HELP AVOID DAMAGE TO THE FINISHED PRODUCT.
Custom and personalized orders
We do not make the piece of furniture, but we do custom finishes. If you have a piece that needs to be refinished whether it is outdated and needs new life
or is of sentimental value we are here to help transform your treasure. For custom finishes it is helpful if you could message us a picture of the piece, measurements, and a picture of the type of finish/style you are interested in. Custom orders can be dropped off. If pick up is needed there is an additional
Fee. A deposit is needed at the time of drop off which will depend on the amount of pieces being refinished.
Is shipping free?
Shipping is not free. If a shipping quote is needed it is best to message with the piece that you are interested in and the city/zip code in which it will be going. Because all pieces vary in size,weight, and destination at this point this is the best way to ensure you receive the most reasonable quote for your location.
Will you repaint a piece?
A majority of our items we will not repaint. If there is a piece you see and want something added to the current finish you can always ask. Payment will be needed prior to making any changes. Please always feel free to ask questions.
How are Items shipped?
If the destination is within our delivery range we will personally deliver the piece. If it is too far for us to personally deliver the next place we search for a quote is through UShip. UShip is a shipping marketplace where a listing is created for the item that needs to be shipped and a bunch of transportation services have the opportunity to offer a quote. We leave the listing open for a few days to try and obtain the best quote for all our potential buyers. Another company we use is Freightbuddy. Freightbuddy helps us find the most reasonable quotes and these items are usually palleted and wrapped for protection.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Before sending items out for shipment we fully inspect them. Items are all blanket wrapped for protection. We recommend fully inspecting the item upon arrival before the deliverer leaves. If there are any concerns or issues it should be mentioned immediately to the driver and me so we can work on processing a claim if needed.
Can items be exchanged or refunded?
Once items are paid for and have left our location we do not do refunds or exchanges. If there is a concern please talk to us as we want to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your purchase.
How long does shipping take?
We typically like to say up to 1 week, but this all depends on how your item is being shipped and the availability of the shipper. We ask if something needs to be shipped within a certain time frame that you provide us with this information.
